CARE

CARE

Looking for some advice on caring for your Nikki McWilliams products? Look no further! We hope you can find all the information you'll need here- however if you'd like to ask anything else- drop us a line at [email protected].

CUSHIONS

As our covers contain some delicate fabrics- the very best way to clean off any small stains is with a cool, damp cloth (the sooner you can get to the stain after it appears, the better!)

If your cushion cover becomes creased through use over time, you can iron them to make them crisp and smooth again:

- Remove the covers and turn them inside out. They can be ironed this way on a medium (cotton/linen) setting to smooth out any large creases.

- To iron the edges crisply, turn the cover out the right way again, zip it up and use a thin press cloth (something like a light-coloured cotton pillow case is good!) to iron the edges down neatly.

- Take care to avoid ironing over the zip & woven label when doing this.

If you want to give your cushions an overall refresh, they should be Professionally Dry-Cleaned only.

The fillers can be removed and plumped up by massaging the filling into any sparse areas.

NECKLACES

Our Mini-Charm Necklaces are made up of two parts: The Acrylic Mini Charm and the Silver-Plated Chain.

- Mini-Charms can be removed from the chain and wiped with a soft damp cloth, if necessary.

-Silver-Plated Chains can be gently polished with a silver cloth to brighten the surface of the metal.

BADGES

The surface of our round pin badges can be polished up using a soft cloth, or cleaned with a damp cloth, if necessary. We would suggest that care is taken to remove them from clothing after wear to keep them from ending up in the washing machine- which could harm them.

BROOCHES

Our wooden brooches can be cleaned using a soft, dry brush or cloth if necessary. We would suggest that care is taken to remove them from clothing after wear to keep them from ending up in the washing machine- which could harm them.

PRINTS

We'd recommend framing your print behind glass or perspex to protect the surface of the paper from dust and out of direct sunlight.
